Beach picnic to Clacton on Sea

SKA Organised a second picnic to Clacton on Sea on 5th August 2018. All together there were 150 people from the Mangalorean Community. Started our journey at 8 from Kingsbury to Clacton on Sea with two coaches. During journey we served breakfast and tea. Then we started Anthakashri. It was so much fun and everyone participated like one family. We reached beach at 10:30. As soon as we reached people started jumping into the water and some started playing volleyball. Around 13:00 we served delicious home made food, chicken, pork, mixed veg masala, Jeera rice and tomato chutney along with wine. A delicacy of mangalorean cuisine. After lunch we served watermelon. Then everyone played tug of war. After that people went back into the water and others played volleyball. Around 16:45 we started packing up and left clacton at 17:00. During the journey on the way back we played bingo and severed snacks. And we reached Kingsbury at 20:00. It was a Day to remember.
