As in previous years, South Kanara Association London, celebrated the Feast of Nativity of Mother Mary on 9th September 2018 at All Saints Church Queensbury, with lot of devotion and enthusiasm. We had a huge crowd of around 350 people.

We started with a procession to adore our Lady with flowers by our little children, and blessing the corn as a symbol of new harvest.
Fr. Deep and Fr. Gomes celebrated the Holy Eucharistic Grand Mass, which was accompanied by our very own choir group lead by Alwyn Saldhana, making the mass a huge celebration.

After the mass, a delicious Manglorean 7 dish vegetarian lunch with idli and traditional vorn and sugarcane was served. This was followed by the entertainment by members of the Association. We ended the day with a biala dance.

Below are a few pictures of the event. There are many more pictures as well as videos on the SKA London Facebook page (click this link).

There is an article on Daijiworld as well.

Additional videos will be uploaded to Youtube as well.

A Heartfelt thanks to all the sponsors, volunteers and the members who have prepared the delicious meal. Indeed a memorable Monthi fest.

Thank you.
